Hills Hackers 2011
January 2, no hangovers remaining (except for Patrick’s excuse). Weather was perfect and we had a good crowd of 19 hackers turn up for the Annual Hills Hackers Golf Day at Oakbank Golf Course.
The Winners “Hoovers Angels” scraped in on a countback so Steve J gets to keep the trophy (when he gets it from DJ) and share the spoils with Hoover, Brad and Claude. Brad also picked up longest drive. Runners-up were the Thunderbirds with Robbo, Simon F and Aaron who won the nearest the pin.
In last place, and it wasn’t even close, was the “PITS” Team, that’s Patrick, Ian and Tony Smith. Congrats to Tony for winning the “Couldn’t Swing a Pick” Award for 2 years in a row.
Great day, good company, a few beers and a BBQ and who cares if the golf was good or bad, couldn’t think of too many things I’d rather be doing.
